Consultation Meeting
Leduc County together with Dansol International,
Trans America Group, and their associates, are preparing an Area
Structure Plan (ASP) for the part of the Pigeon Lake watershed that
falls under the County’s jurisdiction. Residents, landowners, area
associations, and other stakeholders are invited to attend our third
meeting for the North Pigeon Lake ASP on:

The Alberta government has accepted a plan developed by
communities in Alberta's Capital Region that will help coordinate
decisions, sustain future growth and ensure strong communities and a
healthy environment.

H1N1 Virus
The Public Health Agency of Canada has set up a website which is
providing important information to the public to help us avoid
contracting influenza. The website is
www.fightflu.ca and you are encouraged to
visit the site which is updated regularly.
As of August 31st,
2009 access cards will be required at all of Leduc County Solid Waste Sites including the Regional Landfill. The access
cards are valid at all of Leduc County Transfer Stations sites, as
well as the Regional Landfill. Access will not be granted without
an access card.

Leduc County & the City of Leduc have embarked on a 50-year
joint Growth planning initiative. They are cooperatively working
develop an Intermunicipal Development Plan (IDP). This plan will
provide the foundation for Leduc County and the City of Leduc to
work in partnership for a progressive and planned future use of
the plan area.
