Notice of public meeting: Irvine Creek Outline Plan

The purpose of the Irvine Creek Outline Plan is to provide an overview of the land use concept and describe the subject area, services, transportation and servicing requirements needed to support the proposed development. The subject property is located west of Range Road 245 and south of Township Road 510 and are all of the lands east of Irvine Creek within the NE ¼ of 31‐50‐27‐4 (NE 31). The intent of the applicant is to provide single family development to serve the greater Edmonton metropolitan region.

The outline plan will be presented to Leduc County council on Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible. The presentation of the outline plan will be held in the council chamber of Leduc County Centre, at which time written and oral submissions can be presented to council. Submissions may be made by any person(s) who claim to be affected by the outline plan or proposed amendment or from any other person whom council agrees to hear.

Any written submissions that are mailed or delivered to Leduc County, Suite 101,1101-5 Street, Nisku, AB T9E 2X3 or faxed to 955-8866 by noon Friday, May 26, 2017 will be included on the council agenda. Written and oral submissions may be made at the council meeting without prior notification. The information provided in written submissions will be made public along with your name and legal land location, subject to the provisions of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. Copies of the plan, as well as any related information, may be inspected at Leduc County’s planning and development offices from 8:30 a.m. to noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.
