The Public Works Committee is a standing Committee of Council which is responsible for managing matters of policy and programs relating to:
This committee oversees these matters in regard to and in accordance with the Leduc County business plan and budget as adopted by Council. Matters that may affect another County department(s) or are of a scope broader than the County jurisdiction (i.e. inter-municipal matters such as the Regional Landfill Authority), will be referred to Council for consideration. If the matter remains within Public Works and Engineering policy and program scope, the matter will stay within the Public Works Committee.
