Intersection Upgrading & RRSC
In 2008, Leduc County Council approved the Rural Road Surfacing Contribution (RRSC) catchment area. If a subdivision application is within the catchment area, a contribution of $7,500 per subdivided lot is required. In addition to the RRSC, subdivision of those lands in the Hwy 625/RR 232 Upgrade area will require contribution of $2,450 per subdivided lot or in the Hwy 625/RR 234 Upgrade area will require a contribution of $2,650 per subdivided lot.
Payment of RRSCs and upgrade contributions are required at the time the development agreement is signed for Multi-lot Subdivisions and at the time of endorsement for low density subdivisions.
