Functional Planning Studies
Leduc County develops concepts or functional planning studies (FPSs) which outline long-term requirements for the ultimate design of the roadway within a specified study area. Leduc County collaborates with stakeholders, the Government of Alberta and other municipalities as required to develop functional planning studies.
Currently, Leduc County is working on the following FPSs:
- 41st Avenue Southwest
- Township Road 510
- 9th Street - Nisku Spine Road
- Range Road 245/250 (Airport Road to Highway 623)
The Government of Alberta is working on other highway projects within Leduc County such as the QE II Highway Functional Planning Study as well as the reconstruction of Highway 625 from west of Sparrow Drive to east of 9th Street in Nisku.
