In May 2011, the Town of Devon / Leduc County Intermunicipal Development Plan (IDP) was adopted. The two municipalities can now look into the future and prepare the implementation of this statutory plan. This include, but is not limited to, the establishment of a Liaison Committee, the creation of a joint servicing agreement, an environmental assessment, and the preparation of design guidelines for the major gateway roads that are Highway 60 and Highway 19, etc.
