A third generation Leduc County resident, Audrey Kelto grew up south of Warburg and graduated from Warburg High School. After high school, Audrey continued her education and became a registered nursing aide working at the Breton hospital until she and her husband started a family. After having children, Audrey stayed home to work the farm as her husband was often working away from home in the oil patch.

Audrey's family has a long history of farming in the division 6/7 area of Leduc County. In 2008, the Kelto farm was declared a heritage farm, having been in her husband's family for 100 years. This farm is one of the few heritage farms left in the area.

This is Audrey's third term as a Leduc County Councillor. She was first elected to Council in 2004. Prior to being elected, Audrey sat on many community committees, including the Telfordville Hall Board, Warburg FCSS and 4 H. Audrey also worked on the Genesee Power Project Advisory Committee to represent the strong voice for local farmers.

Audrey believes strongly in rural communities and is dedicated to making Leduc County a good place for people to live. She prides herself on being able to make a difference in the community and likes having the opportunity to see changes taking place.

Audrey and her husband, Howard, have two sons and two daughters as well as two granddaughters and two grandsons.
