The first annual New Sarepta and Area Winter Lights Competition wrapped up in mid-December after judges completed their viewings and decisions were made. The results are as follows:

Residential Results

First: Lise Marchand
Second: Larry Thompson
Third: Martin & Alice Rapp

Honorable Mention: House #5139 (non-registered house)

Business Results
First: The New Sarepta Agri Plex

Rural Results
First: Fred & Angie Reed
Second: Dennis Lavasseur
Third: Lloyd Crosswhite

Honorable Mention: The second house in Tiebeke estates (non-registered house)

The grand prize winner (based on a random draw of all the participants) is Gordon and Gladys Booth, who will receive a $100 gift card from Canadian Tire.

All first place entries (residential, rural and business) will receive a $50 gift card from Canadian Tire.

All entries will receive a certificate of recognition from Leduc County. The residential honorable mention will receive a gift from Leduc County; the rural honorable mention will receive The Griswold Christmas Vacation DVD and certificate.
