Leduc County Council approves 2012 budget and sets tax rates
MAY 28 - Leduc County, Alberta - At the special council meeting held this morning, Leduc County Council approved the final 2012 budget and 2012 Tax Rate Bylaw, which sets the 2012 tax rates.
“In preparation for the final 2012 budget, Council provided direction for administration to not exceed a 3.52 per cent increase to the 2012 municipal budget, and we are happy to report that the final budget increase came in at the preset limit,” stated Allan Krasowski, Deputy County Manager. Council approved the 2012 final budget at $69 million for operating and $49.3 million for capital.
