Meet the Staff

The Leduc Regional Parent Link team consists of one Parent Link Coordinator and three Parent and Family Coaches. All of these dedicated and knowledgeable staff are committed to providing creative programming and quality supports and information to families living within Leduc Region.

Tonya Sabourin
TonyaTonya Sabourin is the Leduc Regional Parent Link Coordinator. Tonya brings with her over 15 years of experience providing supports and programs to families with young children in a variety of roles. Tonya has a degree in human ecology (family studies) with a focus on early childhood and special needs. She is also a mother to two young daughters who realizes that parenting is the hardest and most rewarding job she will ever do. As well as supervising the Leduc Regional Parent Link program across the region, Tonya creates the Parent Link newsletter and from time to time runs various programs and workshops. She is also the friendly voice you will hear when you phone the toll free Parent Support number at 1-866-979-2386.

Lisa started out as a Children's Coordinator at the Margaret Savage Crisis Centre in Cold Lake and later moved on to becoming a child care worker at Greenfield School Age Daycare in Edmonton. Lisa can now be seen at Laugh and Learn play programs and also at Parenting Pointers workshops.

Carol Langner

She has been involved in the delivery of early childhood services for the past 25 years, primarily as an administrator, educator and coach. In addition to working with Leduc Regional Parent Link, Carol also consults with child care centres and programs looking to establish Reggio inspired practices. (Look for evidence of that philosophy in the programs she works with at Parent Link.) She’s an active board member who sits on both provincial and national child care organizations. Carol lives in Devon and you’ll mostly see her at the Devon, Thorsby and Warburg sites.
