When are tax and assessment notices mailed?
Taxes and assessments are provided on a combined form and usually sent out in the later part of May each year. Leduc County will post an ad in the local paper (Pipestone Flyer) as well as on the main page of this website notifying residents that the assessment and tax notices have been mailed.
What if I don't receive my tax and assessment notice?
If you did not receive your tax and assessment notice, contact Leduc County Assessment to see if they have your current mailing address. Taxes are still due by the due date on the tax notice and penalties will apply even if you have not received your tax notice.
I don't understand my assessment. What should I do?
Contact Leduc County Assessment as they are the people who have prepared your assessment. They will best be able to explain how your property was assessed and answer any questions you may have about it.

What if I disagree with my assessment can I appeal my taxes?
You cannot appeal your taxes, but you are able to appeal your assessment, which determines how much you pay in taxes. If you don't agree or understand your assessment, contact the assessor of your property. They will explain how the assessment was prepared and if an error was made, a correction can be made and a revised tax noticed will be issued.
If you still don't agree with the assessor's explanation or the assessment you have the opportunity to appeal your assessment.
