Agricultural Services
The ongoing activity of Leduc County Agricultural Services is to encourage production, profitability and sustainability of the agriculture industry in Leduc County through information and program support.
The implementation of agricultural policies and the obligations for enforcement is specified under various Government of Alberta Acts including:
- Agricultural Service Board Act
- Weed Control Act
- Agricultural Pests Act
- Soil Conservation Act
- Water Act
Direction is provided by the Leduc County Agricultural Service Board on the development of programs.
