Leduc County Region Ambulance Board Representatives:

Leduc County Region Ambulance Board

Leduc County, Calmar, New Sarepta, Thorsby, Warburg, and Summer Villages of Golden Days, Itaska Beach and Sundance Beach have established the Leduc County Region Ambulance Board.  Jointly the eight municipalities have entered into an Ambulance Service Amending Agreement for 2007 and 2008 with Parkland Ambulance Authority.

Parkland Ambulance provides excellent service to the taxpayers in the region.  Leduc County provides subsidies to Municipal Board Members based on the following:

Back up Service:

Parkland Ambulance Authority will provide back up service and charge a fee equivalent to the patient fee, for each service provided above the two ambulance vehicles.

Payment for Services

Parkland Ambulance Authority will receive the Annual Service Fee directly from the Municipal Board Members as follows:

Town and Villages will pay a rate of $34.10 in 2007 and $40.40 in 2008 on the basis of the most recent population statistics (or taxable parcel count for the Summer Villages) as per the Leduc County Region Ambulance Board Agreement.

In the event there are extraordinary events or cost increases affecting the delivery of ambulance services all parties agree to review the terms of the Agreement.
