The Parkland
Ambulance Authority (PAA), created in 1983, consists of six
member municipalities, which are Parkland County, Stony Plain, Devon, Wabamun,
Alberta Beach, and Onoway. According
to the 2002 Statistics, the Parkland
Ambulance Authority conducted over 3500 emergency calls and
1300 inter-facility transfers. Currently
the PAA staff consists of 44 full-time
and 24 part-time personnel including four supervisors and four lieutenants.

consists of more than 5,000 square kilometers including both the Parkland and
Leduc County regions including:
