RURAL
ADDRESSING SIGN FEES
On March 22nd
2005 Council adopted ByLaw 7-05 to establish a rural addressing system
to be utilized by emergency service providers and for other purposes
such as providing directions for delivery services.
Parcels of land
supporting residential, commercial, industrial or publicly used
development with a primary access onto a developed road right of way
within Leduc County are assigned a municipal address by Leduc County.
Fees associated with the supply and installation of new municipal
address and subdivision signs are levied at the time subdivisions are
endorsed and at the time applications are made for development permits.
Fees for rural
addressing are as follows:
|
Rural Addressing Sign
(No internal subdivision road) |
$90.00
|
|
Rural Address Signs A & B
(ie. 2nd & 3rd
residences)
|
$22.00
|
|
Subdivision Entrance Sign
(Multi-parcel with internal road)
|
$475.00
|
|
Internal Subdivision Address Sign
(Internal subdivision road)
|
$48.00 |
New municipal address
and subdivision signs are supplied and installed by Leduc County within
ninety (90) days of receipt of payment from the property owner or within
a time frame determined administratively feasible.
Properties within the
Nisku Industrial Park are not subject to these fees. Leduc County will
assign the municipal address to properties within Nisku and the
landowner is responsible for the supply and installation of municipal
address signs and subdivision entrance signs at the primary access onto
a developed road right-of-way.
