One-to-One Support
One-to-one supports is short-term emotional support for individuals and families that aims to build on their strengths in life to help them cope and be resilient. This support is free and voluntary that can take place at home, school, in the community or an office setting over six goal oriented skill building sessions.Family support workers will assist individuals and families to develop or enhance the following:
- Organizational skills
- Conflict resolution and problem solving
- Communication skills
- Healthy relationship building
- Anger management
- Friendship skills
- Positive self-esteem
