OPEN HOUSE BARBECUES
On Thursday, May 23, Leduc County is hosting two public open houses at its public works shops in Nisku and Thorsby. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Date: Thursday, May 23
Time: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Place: Nisku Public Works shop (1202 7 Street, Nisku)
Thorsby Public Works shop (1.1 kilometres north of Hwy 39 on RR 14)
Children (up to age 18) are invited to design a flag in recognition of Public Works Week! Students can use their creativity to design a flag that represents what they think public works does in a community.
The winning design will be used to create real flags that will be flown at Leduc County offices during National Public Works Week. Flags must be submitted in a digital format (scanned drawings will also be accepted). Designs are due Friday, May 10 to firstname.lastname@example.org. Blank flag templates are available to download here.
