Notice of joint public hearing: adopt the Leduc County / summer villages of Itaska Beach, Sundance Beach, and Golden Days IDP
Councils of the summer villages of Itaska Beach, Sundance Beach, Golden Days and Leduc County propose to adopt an Intermunicipal Development Plan (IDP). This IDP is intended as a broad policy framework regarding land use, transportation, municipal services, environmental management, recreation parks and open spaces.
A joint public hearing to consider the Intermunicipal Development Plan will be held on Monday, July 15, 2019 at 6 p.m. in the Sundance Hall, (47 Lakeshore Drive, Sundance Beach) at which time written and oral submissions may be presented to councils. Submissions may be made by any person(s) who claim to be affected by the proposed bylaw or from any other person whom the councils agree to hear.
Any written submissions that are mailed, emailed, or delivered to Leduc County by 4 p.m. on Friday, July 12, 2019, will be included in the council agenda. Individuals wishing to make oral submissions at the public hearing are requested to register by the deadline indicated above.
If you make a written submission, the information you provide may be made public, subject to the provisions of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. Copies of the proposed bylaw and any supporting information may be inspected at the Leduc County Planning and Development office between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, or online at leduc-county.com.
