Notice of joint public hearing: adopt the Leduc County / Village of Warburg IDP
Leduc County council and Village of Warburg council propose to adopt an Intermunicipal Development Plan (IDP). The IDP sets out guidelines for orderly collaborative growth and development between the two municipalities within the IDP boundary for the next 20 years.
A joint public hearing to consider the IDP will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 6 p.m. in the Warburg Pioneer Recreation Centre (5335 50 A Ave., Warburg), at which time written and oral submissions may be presented to council. Submissions may be made by any person(s) who claim to be affected by the proposed bylaw or from any other person whom the councils agree to hear.
Any written submissions that are mailed, emailed, faxed or delivered to Leduc County or the Village of Warburg by 12 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, will be included on the council agenda. Individuals wishing to make oral submissions at the public hearing are requested to register by the deadline indicated above.
If you make a written submission, the information you provide may be made public, subject to the provisions of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. Copies of the proposed bylaw and any supporting information may be inspected at the Leduc County Planning and Development office between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, at the Village of Warburg office between the hours of 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, or online here.
