Notice of public hearing: amend Leduc County Land Use Bylaw 07-08

Leduc County has received an application to amend the Land Use Bylaw. The proposal is to redistrict 1.21 hectares (2.99 acres) of land located at Pt. SEĀ¼ 9-51-24-W4 from the Agricultural (AG) District to the Industrial Business (IB) District. The subject property is located off Range Road 243 and one kilometre south of Township Road 512, within the Royal Cubera Local Area Structure Plan. The intent of the proposed amendment is to allow for a range of industrial and commercial uses on the subject property.

The public hearing will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 2 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible. The public hearing will be held in the council chamber of County Centre, at which time written and oral submissions can be presented to council. Submissions may be made by any person whom council agrees to hear.

Any written submissions mailed to Leduc County, 101-1101 5 Street, Nisku, AB, T9E 2X3, emailed to development@leduc-county.com, or faxed to 780-955-8866 referencing application LA19-001 by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 1, 2019, will be included on the council agenda. Written and oral submissions may be made at the council meeting without prior notification to Leduc County.

Copies of the proposed amending bylaw and any supporting information may be inspected at the Planning and Development offices in County Centre between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, or online here.
