Notice of public hearing: proposed bylaw to amend the Land Use Bylaw 07-08

Leduc County has received an application to amend the Land Use Bylaw 07-08. The purpose of the proposed bylaw is to redistrict six individual parcels of land located within the Nisku Business Park, to a combined total of 8.8 ha (21.7 ac) at Pt. SE 19-50-24 W4, from the Direct Control (DC-001) District to the Industrial (IND) District.

The purpose of the proposed amendment is to allow for the consideration of a range of industrial and commercial uses on the subject properties.

A public hearing for the proposed amendment will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at 6:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible, in the council chamber at County Centre, at which time written and oral submissions can be presented to council. Submissions may be made by any person(s) who claim to be affected by the proposed amendment or from any other person whom council agrees to hear.

Any written submissions that are mailed or delivered to Leduc County, 101-1101 5 Street, Nisku, AB T9E 2X3, faxed to 780-955-8866 or emailed to by 4:30 p.m. Monday, July 2, 2018, referencing application LA18-001 will be presented to council. Written and oral submissions may be made at the council meeting, without prior notification to Leduc County.

Copies of the proposed amending bylaw may be inspected in the Planning and Development offices of County Centre between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, or online here.
