Notice of public hearing: proposed bylaw to amend the Land Use Bylaw 07-08 re: LA18-009

The purpose of the proposed bylaw is to amend the Leduc County Land Use Bylaw. Application LA18-009 proposes to amend the regulations of Direct Control District DC-022, which relates to a 1.4ha± (3.6ac±) parcel of land described as Plan 3274EO, Block RLY, Lot 49; Pt. SE 30-49-25 W4M.

The purpose of the proposed bylaw is to amend Part 7 – Building Types of DC-022 that restricts development to non-permanent buildings to allow for the consideration of a permanent building on the premises.

The public hearing will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2018 at 2:15 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible. The public hearing will be held in the council chamber of County Centre, at which time written and oral submissions can be presented to council. Submissions may be made by any person whom council agrees to hear.

Any written submissions that are emailed to or mailed to Leduc County, 101-1101 5 Street, Nisku, AB, T9E 2X3 or faxed to 780-955-8866 by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 1, 2018, will be included on the council agenda. Written and oral submissions may be made at the council meeting without prior notification to Leduc County.

Copies of the proposed amending bylaw and any supporting information may be inspected at the Planning and Development offices in County Centre between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 to 4:30 p.m.,
