Notice of public hearing: proposed bylaw to amend the Land Use Bylaw 07-08

The purpose of the proposed bylaw is to amend the Leduc County Land Use Bylaw 07-08. The proposal is to redistrict approximately 8.1 ha± (20 ac±) of those lands described as SE 14-49-1-W5M (Plan 1323429, Block 1, Lot 4) from the AG – Agricultural District to the IAR – Industrial/Agricultural Resource District to allow for expansion of the Thorsby Auction Mart. The property is located at Township Road 492 and Range Road 11, adjacent to the Town of Thorsby.

A public hearing concerning the amendment will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 2 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible, in the council chamber of County Centre.

Any written submissions that are mailed or delivered to Leduc County, 101-1101 5 Street, Nisku, AB T9E 2X3 or faxed to 780-955-8866 by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 will be included on the council agenda. Written and oral submissions may be made at the council meeting without prior notification to Leduc County.

If you make a written submission, the information you provide may be made public, subject to the provisions of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. Copies of the proposed amending bylaws, the applications for amendment and any related information may be inspected in the planning and development offices of County Centre between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
