Notice of public hearing: proposed bylaw to amend the Village of New Sarepta Land Use Bylaw 216

The purpose of the proposed bylaw is to amend the New Sarepta Land Use Bylaw 216. The proposal is to redistrict approximately 0.225 ha± (0.55 ac±) of those lands described as NE 33-49-22-W4M (Plan 1821616, Block 1, Lot 13) from the R-3 – Residential District to the U-S – Urban Services District to allow for expansion of the New Sarepta District Fire Station. The property is located on Centre Street off Centre Avenue in the Hamlet of New Sarepta.

A public hearing concerning the amendment will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2018 at 2 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible in Leduc County council chamber. Oral submissions can be presented to council. Submissions may be made by any person(s) who claim to be affected by the proposed amendment or from any other person whom council agrees to hear.

Any written submissions that are mailed or delivered to Leduc County, 101- 1101 5 Street, Nisku, AB T9E 2X3 or faxed to 780-955-8866 by 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2018 will be included on the council agenda. Written and oral submissions may be made at the council meeting, without prior notification to Leduc County.

Copies of the proposed amending bylaws, the applications for amendment and any related information may be inspected in the planning and development offices of County Centre between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday or online here.
