Notice of public hearing: proposed bylaw to amend the Land Use Bylaw 07-08

The purpose of the proposed bylaw is to amend the Leduc County Land Use Bylaw. The application proposes to redistrict approximately 0.9ha (2.2ac) of land within a 16ha (39.9ac) parcel described as Plan 3833RS, Lot 3; Pt. NE 11-50-24 W4M from the Agricultural (AG) District to the Direct Control (DC) District. The intent of the redistricting is to facilitate the storage and maintenance of up to 20 school buses.

The public hearing will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2018 at 2 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible. The public hearing will be held in the council chamber of County Centre, at which time written and oral submissions can be presented to council. Submissions may be made by any person whom council agrees to hear.

Any written submissions that are emailed to development@leduc-county.com or mailed to Leduc County, 101-1101 5 Street, Nisku, AB, T9E 2X3 or faxed to 780-955-8866 by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2018, will be included on the council agenda. Written and oral submissions may be made at the council meeting without prior notification to Leduc County.
