Notice of public hearing: proposed bylaw to amend the Land Use Bylaw 7-08
The purpose of the proposed bylaw is to amend the Leduc County Land Use Bylaw to make provisions for the following:
1. Part 9.6 - AG – Agricultural District
Add Item (c) to Part 9.1.6 of the AG - Agricultural District:
(c) Notwithstanding (a) above, 15 acres (5.94 hectares) located at NE 30-50-25 W4M may be used for Recreational Vehicle Storage.
According to Part 9.6.1 of the Land Use Bylaw, the maximum coverage for Recreational Vehicle Storage is five per cent. The landowner wishes to increase the allowable Recreational Vehicle Storage area to 25 per cent.
A public hearing concerning the proposed amendments will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible, in the council chamber of County Centre, at which time written and oral submissions can be presented to council. Submissions may be made by any person(s) who claim to be affected by the proposed amendment or from any other person whom council agrees to hear.
Any written submissions that are mailed, emailed or delivered to Leduc County, Suite 101, 1101-5 Street, Nisku, AB T9E 2X3 or faxed to 780-955-8866 by noon on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 will be included on the council agenda. Written and oral submissions may be made at the council meeting, without prior notification to Leduc County.
If you make a written submission, the information you provide may be made public, subject to the provisions of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. Copies of the proposed amending bylaw amendments may be inspected at the Planning and Development offices in County Centre between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
