Notice of public hearing: proposed bylaw to amend the Land Use Bylaw 7-08
The purpose of the proposed bylaw is to amend the Leduc County Land Use Bylaw. The proposal is to redistrict approximately 3.25 ha± (8.03 ac±) of land located at Pt. SW 26-50-25-W4, Lot 1, Block 1, Plan 072 9782 from the Agricultural (AG) District to the Industrial Business (IB) District. The subject property is located on Range Road 252 and Queen Elizabeth Highway II, within the Crossroads Area Structure Plan. The intent of the application is to allow for a variety of business/industrial uses including, but not limited to, professional, scientific and technical service, hotel and business office.
The public hearing will be presented to Leduc County Council on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 2 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible. The public hearing will be held in the council chamber of County Centre, at which time written and oral submissions can be presented to council. Submissions may be made by any person(s) who claim to be affected by the proposed amendment or from any other person whom council agrees to hear. Any written submissions that are mailed or delivered to Leduc County, 101, 1101-5 Street, Nisku, AB, T9E 2X3 or faxed to 780-955-8866 by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, will be included on the council agenda. Written and oral submissions may be made at the council meeting, without prior notification to Leduc County.
If you make a written submission, the information you provide may be made public, subject to the provisions of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. Copies of the proposed amending bylaw and any supporting information may be inspected at the Planning and Development offices in County Centre between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
