Notice of public hearing: rescind New Sarepta Land Use Bylaw and amend Leduc County Land Use Bylaw

The purpose of the proposed bylaw is to rescind the existing Village of New Sarepta Land Use Bylaw No. 216 and consolidate it with Leduc County Land Use Bylaw 07-08. This will result in a comprehensive and inclusive Land Use Bylaw consistent with the provisions of the Municipal Development Plan and the Hamlet of New Sarepta Area Structure Plan.

A public hearing concerning the proposed rescinding of The Village of New Sarepta Land Use Bylaw No. 216 and amendment to Leduc County Land Use Bylaw 07-08 will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at 2:15 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible in Leduc County council chambers (101, 1101 – 5 Street, Nisku), at which time written and oral submissions may be presented to council. Submissions may be made by any person(s) who claim to be affected by the proposed bylaw or from any other person whom council agrees to hear.

Any written submissions that are mailed or delivered to Leduc County, Suite 101,1101-5 Street, Nisku, AB T9E 2X3 or faxed to 955-8866 by 4:30 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2019, will be included on the council agenda. Written and oral submissions may be made at the council meeting without prior notification.

Copies of the proposed amending bylaw and any supporting information may be inspected at the Planning and Development office in County Centre between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, or on the Leduc County website here.
