Update: Water service restored in Edda Vista
Effective immediately, water has been restored in the Edda Vista subdivision. Leduc County utility crews performed an emergency water repair on the south loop of Edda Vista road, starting on Tuesday, Nov. 21.
Residents are instructed to flush their own water lines by following the below steps:
- Open each tap -- one at a time -- and flush for approximately one minute. If the water appears cloudy or contains grit, continue to run the tap(s) until the water runs clear.
- If you have an ice machine, it is recommended that you run the ice through at least one cycle.
- If your hot water heater is set below 45 degrees C (normal setting is 60 degrees C), drain and refill.
Leduc County thanks residents for their patience and cooperation during the water service disruption.
