Workshop - Farm transitions: The cost of doing nothing

A succession plan is defined by the 2016 Census of Agriculture as a written plan made by the main farm operators to transfer ownership, labour and the control of the operation to another person. According to the Census, only 8.4% of all agricultural operations reported having a written succession plan.
