Municipal buildings |
Leduc County Centre is open to the public for walk-in service on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Services Building and Community and Operations Centre in Nisku are closed to the public (as of Dec. 14). The Calmar, New Sarepta, Nisku and Thorsby fire stations are closed to the public (as of Nov. 13). The Nisku and Thorsby public works shops are open to the public by appointment only moving forward; agricultural producers can call 780-789-3777 to schedule an appointment to drop-off chemical containers at the Thorsby Public Works Shop. Despite the building closures, our services remain unaffected; we are committed to delivering high-quality municipal services, and these services will still be provided. Visitors to Leduc County facilities must follow public health measures, including wearing masks, practicing physical distancing of at least two metres between individuals and staying home when sick. We have several task forces actively working on our relaunch strategy. These task forces are focused on reopening our buildings, campgrounds and other public spaces, and on strategic economic recovery. The below information is being evaluated regularly and is subject to change; we will provide updates as decisions are made.
