Leduc County council consists of seven councillors that each represent an electoral division. At the annual organizational meeting, councillors nominate and vote for a member of council to serve a one-year term as mayor.
Leduc County council adhere to a Council Code of Conduct, which is consistent with the principles of transparent and accountable government, and ensures all council members share a common understanding of acceptable conduct.

Tanni Doblanko is the mayor of Leduc County and division five councillor. She was elected to council in 2013, was re-elected in 2017 and was acclaimed in 2021. She has served as mayor since 2017.

Mayor Doblanko facilitates clear, concise communication about decisions made by council and the impacts these decisions have on our community. She is committed to ensuring sustainable agriculture and responding to constituent requests.
Doblanko grew up in Mannville, a small village in central Alberta. Prior to being elected to council, she worked as an assistant superintendent with the Edmonton Public School Board.

Division one Councillor Rick Smith was elected to Leduc County council in 2013 and acclaimed in both 2017 and 2021.

Councillor Smith is focused on fostering teamwork within council, while supporting the staff at Leduc County. He wants to support sustainable growth and development in division one and throughout the county. Prior to his work on council, Smith taught special education and behaviour support to children of all ages in Wetaskiwin, Alta. He is originally from Lloydminster, Alta. and has lived in Leduc County since 2006.

Division two Councillor Kelly-Lynn Lewis was elected to Leduc County council in 2017 and re-elected in 2021.

Councillor Lewis is focused on fostering trust and communication in division two, while advocating for road improvements to better serve residents. Prior to working with Leduc council, Lewis worked as a restaurant manager, bookkeeper for a small business and manager of a buy-and-sell shop. She has been a resident of Leduc County since 2013.

Division six Councillor Glenn Belozer was first elected to Leduc County council in 2013 and was re-elected in 2017 and 2021.
