Drainage

You may be eligible for funding for small drainage projects that affect Leduc County roads, ditches or private drainage. Drainage projects should alleviate ponding along roads or create a benefit to your property.

Apply for funding

Apply through the Small Acreage Drainage Projects program. Approved projects may be eligible to receive 60 per cent funding to a maximum of $750 per applicant.

Restrictions

Alterations to waterways or runoff courses must be approved by Alberta Environment and Parks prior to beginning work. You should also contact Fisheries and Oceans Canada  about any areas that may be deemed potential fish habitat.
