Several road construction projects are scheduled to take place this season, beginning in late May. Please note, these projects are weather dependent, and the start and end dates for each project is subject to change.

Arbor Estates (May 19 to 30) COMPLETE |
Rehabilitation work in Arbor Estates subdivision The contractor for this project is Carmacks Enterprises Ltd. Crews will pulverize the existing road surface, cement stabilize the road, place 150 millimetres of granular base course, place down new asphalt and replace culverts.

South Wizard Lake Road (May 29 to July 31) COMPLETE |
Rehabilitation work on South Wizard Lake Road (Township Road 480) from Highway 795 to Range Road 271
The contractor for this project is Carmacks Enterprises Ltd. Crews will make drainage improvements in select areas, stabilize the existing road and place a granular base course. Drainage workJuly 10 update: drainage work is complete
During the drainage improvements, there will be no through traffic, as the roadway will have an excavation spanning the entire width. The road will be closed until June 24. Range Road 240 (June 22 to Aug. 15) COMPLETE AHEAD OF SCHEDULE |
Rehabilitation work on Range Road 240 from Highway 616 to south boundary The contractor for this project is Border Paving Ltd. Crews will complete subgrade preparation, place 300 millimetres of granular base course and place down new asphalt.

Clover Lawn Road (June 22 to Aug. 15) COMPLETE AHEAD OF SCHEDULE |
Mill and overlay work on Clover Lawn Road (Range Road 233) from Highway 623 to Township Road 490 The contractor for this project is Border Paving Ltd. Crews will make base repairs, mill and fill damaged asphalt, complete crack repairs and place down new asphalt.

Spot repairs and chip-seal the entire roadway. The contractor for this project is West-Can Seal Coating Inc. Crews will complete spot repairs and then place chip-seal on the roadway.
