Residents also have access to eight transfer stations to dispose of household waste and recyclable items. In addition to the transfer stations, Leduc County residents may access the Leduc and District Regional Waste Management Facility (LDRWMF) and the City of Leduc Eco Station.
Leduc County also provides door-to-door solid waste collection for residents in the hamlet of Nisku, New Sarepta, Diamond Estates, Lukas Estates and the Royal Oaks subdivisions.

Leduc and District Waste Management Facility (LDRWMF)
Leduc County residents may utilize the LDRWMF to dispose of waste; however, residents must have an access card to gain entrance to and use the facility. The LDRWMF access card is a separate card from Leduc County's transfer station access cards; you cannot use your transfer station access card to gain entrance to the LDRWMF. Residents must keep both cards, one for the LDRWMF and one for Leduc County's transfer stations.
Apply for a LDRWMF access card
Note: Leduc County residents can dispose of up to three tonnes (3,000 kg) of waste at the LDRWMF at no cost; charges apply if exceeding three tonnes in a calendar year. There is no limit or charge for disposing of waste at Leduc County transfer stations.
For assistance with the LDRWMF access cards, contact the facility directly at 780-980-9609.
