Leduc County provides door-to-door solid waste collection for residents in the hamlet of Nisku, New Sarepta, Diamond Estates, Lukas Estates and the Royal Oaks subdivisions. We also provide access to eight transfer stations throughout the county for residents to drop off household waste and recyclable items.
In addition to the transfer stations, Leduc County residents may access the Leduc and District Regional Waste Management Facility (LDRWMF) and the City of Leduc Eco Station.
Leduc County residents may utilize the LDRWMF to dispose of waste; however, an access card is required to gain entrance to and use the facility. The LDRWMF access card is a separate card from Leduc County's transfer station access cards - you cannot use your transfer station access card to gain entrance to the LDRWMF. Residents must keep both cards – one for the LDRWMF and one for Leduc County's transfer stations.
