Water and sewer line connections

All new developments need to connect to the municipal water and sewer system. In order to connect to the Leduc County water and sewer system, you need to apply for a municipal water/sewer servicing and inspection permit.

After your home or business is connected to the municipal water and sewer system, you need to create a utility account in order to manage and pay your utilities.

Water/sewer service permit

Fill out the Leduc County municipal water/sewer servicing and inspection permit application form and submit it by email.

Source control discharge application

Commercial and industrial property owners must submit a source control discharge application if wastewater discharge from the facility is of an industrial or commercial nature. Please submit your completed application to us by email.

Note

If you are developing a property and need to set up a utility services account and connect to the main municipal water and sewer lines, the developer must follow the above steps and submit the forms in-person to the Leduc County Planning and Development department during regular business hours.

Sewer transfer stations

The Nisku transfer station provides wastewater disposal for approved haulers. The station is a fully automated system that provides 24-hour access for septage disposal. In order to gain access to the station, you must apply for a sewer transfer station access card.

Complete the sewer transfer station card application form and submit it by email.
