Starting Tuesday, April 1 at 8 a.m., seasonal road bans will be in effect in Leduc County. Seasonal road bans are applied as required to protect road infrastructure. Bans are added or lifted depending on weather conditions in the spring, summer and winter. Some bans that are placed in the spring will remain throughout the summer and are lifted once the ground is frozen.
The order will be available to view and will be in effect on April 1 at 8 a.m. Learn more and view the order on our road bans webpage.

If you need to haul equipment or materials in excess of road bans, you must apply for an overweight permit. If you have a permit from the Government of Alberta, you still need to obtain permission from Leduc County to haul a load that is heavier than the posted ban limit.
If you are an agricultural producer planning to haul grain or other agricultural commodities, you must get a permit if your load weights will be in excess of the restrictions.
Call RoaData at 1-888-444-9288 to obtain a road ban exemption permit for agriculture. Please call a minimum of 24 hours in advance of a planned move to ensure conditions allow for it.
This FREE permit will allow you to haul during spring road ban season. Conditions will apply.
