Leduc County is taking a measured and phased approach to its relaunch efforts to maintain the safety of its staff and the public.
In addition to the recent opening of our parks, municipal campgrounds and playgrounds, our municipal buildings will open to the public in a phased approach starting June 8.
The safety of our citizens and staff is our primary concern and has guided our relaunch efforts. Despite closing our doors to in-person, drop-in visits in mid-March, we have continued to deliver high-quality municipal services. We look forward to once again serving our residents in-person, with new safety measures in place, when our buildings reopen.
Duane Coleman, county manager
On June 8, our Finance department at Leduc County Centre (1101 5 St.) will open to the public for drop-in service on weekdays during regular office hours (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.). This enables citizens to pay their taxes and bills, purchase bus passes and obtain transfer station access cards.
Additional county departments and buildings will open throughout June; a full schedule can be found at leduc-county.com/covid-19. Staff remain available to assist citizens during office hours by calling 780-955-3555.
Additional relaunch plans include the following:
We ask all visitors to follow the directions posted throughout our buildings, and to follow public health orders including practising physical distancing, staying home when sick and limiting group gatherings.
