Effective today, the Emergency Coordination Centre (ECC) made the decision to cancel all county-hosted programs, workshops and events. These cancellations are effective immediately and will remain in effect until further notice.

Additionally, Leduc County council met today for a special meeting to discuss COVID-19 and actions related to the evolving situation. They made the decision to cancel all upcoming council, internal committee and in-person external committee meetings until further notice.

These measures are in line with provincial recommendations to practice social distancing and avoid time spent in crowds, and will help to ensure the health and safety of our residents and all staff.
