Pursuant to the authority of Leduc County Council as provided with Section 22 of the Municipal Government Act, R.S.A. 2000, Chapter M-26, as amended, notice is hereby given to the intention of Council to pass a bylaw to close and sell a portion of undeveloped road allowance.
All that portion of highway in Leduc County, in the Province of Alberta, of record in the Land Titles Office for the North Alberta Land Registration District described as follows:
A portion of the Government Road Allowance adjacent to the south of the SE 15-49-3 W5M described as follows: starting 30 metres west of the south east corner of SE 15-49-3-W5M, continuing 770.82 metres west along the south boundary of SE 15-49-3-W5M, from this point southerly 20.12 metres to the northern boundary of NE 10-49-3-W5M, continuing easterly 770.82 metres along the north boundary of NE 10-49-3-W5M, and northerly 20.12 metres to the starting point; containing a total of ±1.54 ha.
EXCEPTING THEREOUT ALL MINES AND MINERALS.

A public hearing on the proposed road allowance closure was held at the Leduc County regular council meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2022 at 1:45 p.m.
Council did not provide first reading. Instead, Council referred the item to administration to have ALUS documentation and provide access clarification on the subject lands provided to Alberta Environment and Parks and Alberta Transportation.
