Road closure: Highway 39 construction

The below information was provided by the Government of Alberta.

Starting Sept. 23, their contractor, Knelsen will start paving the intersections improvements on Range Road 255, 260, 261, as well as Range Road 265. Once the intersections have been completed, they will start paving Highway 39, 2 km west of Calmar to 3 km west of Highway 2. 

This second phase should start late next week or early the following week. There will be alternate traffic as one lane will be closed. Traffic will be stopped, and it is suggested that alternate routes are utilized for the next three weeks. Hours of operation estimated to be 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
