Children and youth will have a blast zipping around on scooters, testing out a variety of games including laser tag and nerf wars, and don’t forget we will all be creating art projects together! The night will include a blend of free play, games and activities. Coffee and tea will be provided so come on down for a few games or a friendly visit! Information and requirements Children under the age of eight must be accompanied by a responsible supervisor aged 14 years or older.

The family fun sport zone is a free drop-in program one Saturday per month in both October and November. Families are welcome to attend and explore all things related to sports! Children and youth of all ages will have the opportunity to try out a variety of sports and work on their skills throughout the sessions with their families and friends. Parents and caregivers are also encouraged to participate and have fun! Sports zone can be a great way to show children and youth how much fun taking part in sports can be, as well as how it can improve physical and mental health! We will provide coffee and tea to keep you cozy as the weather gets chillier so come on down for some games or a friendly visit! Information and requirements Children under the age of eight must be accompanied by a responsible supervisor aged 14 years or older.

Harvest Festival at Strawberry Community Hall - Saturday, Oct. 21 |
Come together for an afternoon of fall-themed games and activities at the Harvest Festival at Strawberry Community Hall! Make sure to bring your family and friends out to join Leduc County for some independent yard games as well as traditional outdoor games including a three-legged race. Participants will have the opportunity to have fun and win some great prizes!

Similar to the evening drop-in program, children and youth can explore games, sports and activities! Families can attend whichever session they prefer or come back after the lunch break and play some more!
Children should bring clean indoor running shoes, active clothing and a water bottle. Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by a responsible supervisor 14 years or older.

Are you ready for the holidays? Start them off right and join us at our winter festival featuring breakfast with Santa. We will have limited capacity for this event. Please note there will be two sessions to accommodate registrants.
Kids-only Santa ShopOur kids-only Santa shop is a store where kids can buy Christmas presents ranging from $1 to $5 for the favourite adults in their lives, including mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, teachers and more! Remember, quantities are limited at the kids-only Santa shop and so are tickets to the event, so get yours early! |
Light the Night: Winter Luminary at Rundle's Mission - Saturday, Dec. 16 |
Let’s celebrate the Christmas season together while enjoying maple candy, ice carving and don’t forget to test out our toboggan run! Bring the family and head inside to warm up with some hot chocolate (available to purchase from the concession), gingerbread house decorating all while enjoying some live music provided by Kim Gates! For the main event, you can create and decorate your own luminary and afterwards take a walk around the community trail after dark (4 p.m.) to see the luminary lights. This event is free for all to attend, and you don’t need to register; just dress warm and show up to have fun!
