Council proclamations

Leduc County Council recognizes initiatives of local significance that have a positive impact in the community.

Charitable and non-profit organizations, or their representatives or supporters, are invited to request that council recognize a specific day, week or month in the form of an official proclamation. Proclamations will be read aloud in public council meetings and shared online.

Charitable and non-profit organizations, or their representatives or supporters, are invited to request that a specific day, week or month be recognized by Council in the form of a proclamation. Initiatives must have local significance and be of interest to the community.

Applicants of declared proclamations will receive a copy of the official proclamation.

To request a proclamation, please complete the online form through the link below.

Deadline: submissions must be made four (4) to six (6) weeks in advance of the date recognized.

NOTE: Proclamations only apply to the year for which it's requested. Applicants may re-apply for a declaration for the same date every year.
