
Leduc County approves updated Land Use Bylaw

On June 24, 2025, Leduc County Council gave third and final reading to Bylaw 14-25 Land Use Bylaw, which adopts the updated Land Use Bylaw and rescinds bylaw 7-08.

Public input to be gathered online and through open houses
Leduc County is presenting a finalized draft of its updated Land Use Bylaw to interested citizens, businesses and stakeholders during three open houses and an online survey.
“Updating our Land Use Bylaw has been one of our most important projects over the last couple of years,” says Leduc County Mayor Tanni Doblanko. “We encourage people to review the draft online or visit one of our open houses. It’s a great opportunity to ask questions, speak with staff and review the draft document.”

DATE: May 29, 2025, 3 to 7 p.m. - Business and Entrepreneur Centre (BEC) – 606 18th Ave., Nisku
DATE: June 2, 2025, 3 to 7 p.m.
SURVEY
- Online survey, May 22 to June 5, 2025
- Hard copies available at the County Centre, 101-1101 5 St., Nisku, and for each open house
Completed surveys must be received by June 5, 2025.
DRAFT BYLAW
The draft Land Use Bylaw can be found through the project page on YourSayLeducCounty.com to review online, download and/or print. A hard copy of the bylaw can also be reviewed on site with Planning and Development found on the second floor of the County Centre, 101-1101 5 St., Nisku.
NEXT STEPS
Following public engagement, the bylaw is scheduled for a public hearing at a regular meeting of Leduc County Council, June 24, 2025, at 1:45 p.m. More details will be made available on Yoursayleduccounty.com
