Made in Leduc County: creating culinary connections
Second edition cookbook designed with and for County residents
Leduc County is pleased to share its reaching out to residents this summer to gather fun recipes, stories and photos to be used in the second edition of Made in Leduc County Cookbook.
Last year, the County launched the inaugural edition featuring 42 recipes submitted by people from throughout Leduc County.
“Made in Leduc County is a great way to connect residents,” says Leduc County Mayor Tanni Doblanko. “Through our agricultural roots from garden to table, it’s a cookbook designed to share tried and true family recipes and stories between friends who haven’t met yet.”
Submissions will be gathered online through YourSayLeducCounty.com as the project link can be found on the main page. Similar to last year, the County appreciates any and all fun stories and photos to accompany the recipes.
“This cookbook is about connectivity, building a sense of community across the region whether it’s a meal in the field or a family celebration; through the sharing of our family recipes, we are able to bring the past to the present in the most delicious way,” adds Doblanko.
Deadline for submissions is Sept. 6, 2024 by 4 p.m. through the online form found on the YourSayLeducCounty.com project page, ‘Made in Leduc County cookbook.’
