Urban residential snow removal takes place January 22 and 23

Beginning Wednesday, Jan. 22, snow removal will occur in the following urban residential subdivisions:

• Diamond Estates
• Churchill Estates
• Royal Oaks

Work will begin at approximately 7 a.m. on Jan. 22 and is estimated to be complete by the end of the day on Jan. 23. 

What residents can expect during snow removal

• Reminder signs will be placed throughout each subdivision to inform you of upcoming snow removal efforts.
• Expect to see several different types of equipment in your neighbourhood, such as graders, a loader with a snow blower attachment, tandem trucks and a skid steer.
•  Snow will be windrowed to the middle or one side of the road to be picked up as part of the removal process. 

What residents need to do during snow removal

Remove all vehicles from streets prior to 7 a.m. on Jan. 22. Snow removal will be completed more efficiently without vehicles on residential streets.
